Seating Information

The seating arrangement at Tanglewood is designed to enhance the concert experience. The venue features both reserved seating and general admission areas, allowing guests to choose their preferred experience. The best sections for sound quality are typically located closer to the stage, particularly in the Shed area where acoustics are optimized for orchestral performances.

On the other hand, the worst sections are generally found at the farthest edges of the lawn area. While these spots may offer a more budget-friendly option, they can compromise sound quality and visibility during performances. For those seeking a balance between price and experience, the middle sections of the lawn provide a reasonable compromise.

Parking Information

Parking at Tanglewood can be convenient with several options available for attendees. The best parking option is located at 297 West Street, Lenox, MA 01240. This lot offers ample space and is within walking distance to the venue entrance. Parking fees typically range from $20 to $30 depending on the event.

In addition to this primary lot, there are several alternative parking areas nearby; however, it is advisable to avoid street parking in residential areas as it may lead to fines or towing.
